The Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. It provides information and support, runs quality care services, funds research, advises professionals and campaigns for improved health and social care and greater public understanding and awareness of dementia.

J's Hospice
The aim of The J’s Hospice is to build and equip a hospice for young adults aged 18-40 diagnosed with a life threatening illness, in Essex and surrounding counties. The J’s will have facilities for recreation, entertainment and study in an attractive and relaxed atmosphere allowing the best quality of adult life as independently as is possible. Building The J’s will cost £5 million and a further £1.5 million each year once built.

Jane's Appeal

Havens Hospices
Havens Hospices, which incorporates Fair Havens Adult Hospice and Little Havens Children’s Hospice cares and supports those in the community of Essex affected by life limiting and life threatening illnesses. Our care is free to those who need it but with combined costs of over £4.7 million pounds, and limited government funding, we rely heavily on the generosity of the local community.

St Richard's Hospice (Worcester)
St Richard’s Hospice has been caring for patients and families living with cancer and other life-threatening illness since 1984. A new £5.25m St Richard’s hospice opened in 2006 and contains an In-patient Unit for the first time, as well as a Day Hospice, Home Care Team, Counselling and Bereavement support, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Complementary Therapies, Hospice at Home, Snowdrop Group, Chaplaincy, 24 hr phone support helpline, Younger Persons Support Group, and more..

Ovarian Cancer Action
Ovarian cancer action is the leading ovarian cancer charity in the UK. Ovarian cancer kills 12 women a day, and survival rates are low at 30%. Ovarian cancer action funds research into ovarian cancer, raises awareness of the disease and gives a voice to women affected by it.

We support families whose children are under treatment for life threatening heart & lung conditions within The Royal Brompton & Harefield Trust. Life for these families can be incredibly stressful. We help in many ways, including; providing information, putting people in touch with others in similar situations, holding fun & social events, and improving the physical facilities & environment families have access to while in hospital.
